Dr. Mark Catton has been practicing general dentistry on the Northside of Indianapolis at his office on the corner of 49th and Pennsylvania St. since 1983. His son, Dr. Nicholas Catton, joined the practice in the summer of 2014. In anticipation of Nick joining the practice, Dr. Mark opened a second location in Carmel near 146th and US 31. Mark E. Catton, DDS

Dr. Mark Catton joined an established family dental practice on the corner of 49th and Pennsylvania in 1983. A native of Indianapolis, Dr. Catton attended St. Pius X Grade School and Chatard High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Indiana University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the IU School of Dentistry, where he graduated with High Honors. He has extensive post graduate studies in all fields of General Dentistry including Endodontic (Root Canal Therapy), Cosmetic and Esthetic Dentistry, Periodontal Maintenance (continuing care for gums and bone around the teeth), Orthodontics, Functional Dental Appliances, and Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) Treatment.

Dr. Catton is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. He is a regular volunteer at the Trinity Free Clinic in Hamilton County which provides free dental care to area residents in need. Dr. Catton and his wife, Germaine, have four children and four grandchildren: Nick (wife Natalie and daughters Emma and Charlotte), Beth (husband James, daughter Addie and son Beau), Sam, and Ben, and they reside in Westfield, Indiana, where they attend Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. In his spare time, Dr. Catton enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, fishing , traveling, and playing golf and tennis with his family.

Nicholas J. Catton, DDS

Dr. Nicholas Catton enjoys practicing with his father in their family practice. Nick enjoys general dentistry and has a special interest in oral surgery and implant dentistry.

Nick is the oldest son of Dr. Mark Catton and joined his father in practice at Catton Dentistry in July, 2014.  Nick grew up in Indianapolis and Carmel, Indiana and attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grade School and Brebeuf Jesuit High School.  He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with Highest Distinction.
